Why can I not sell yet?
Last updated: 23 October 2026
Selling on Sawa needs a verified payout account, because we will not publish a service we cannot pay you for. Until that is done you can browse, buy and message, but the sell screens stay closed and your services stay invisible to buyers.
What you need to do
Open your profile, tap Payouts, and complete the identity check. It is run by Stripe, our payment provider, and asks for your name, address, date of birth and bank details. Sawa never sees your bank credentials.
The moment Stripe confirms your account, selling unlocks and any service you have already drafted becomes publishable.
Where you need to be paid
You can use Sawa as a buyer from almost anywhere. Receiving payouts is only possible in the countries our payment provider can pay into, which today means Europe — the current list is shown in the app when you set up payouts.
The country that matters is the one your bank account is in, not where you live. If you live outside Europe but hold a European bank account, set that as your payout country.
Publishing a service
- Your price must be at least €15. The floor exists because a refunded order costs us the full payment-processing fee with no revenue to cover it.
- Your description must be between 150 and 1,500 characters. It appears twice on your service page, so length is punished twice.
- Prices, delivery times and revision counts are whole numbers.
