Your account and your data
Last updated: 23 October 2026
You can get a copy of your data, block someone, or delete your account from inside the app. Here is where each of those lives and what it actually does.
Download your data
Profile, then Edit profile, then "Export my data" at the bottom. We email you a file containing your profile, orders, messages, reviews and services.
Blocking someone
Open the chat, tap their name, and block. They can no longer message you or start an order with you. You can unblock from the blocked list in your profile at any time.
If someone is behaving badly, report them from the same screen. Reports are read by Sawa and the person is not told who reported them.
Deleting your account
Profile, then Edit profile, then "Delete account" at the bottom. If you have never ordered or sold, everything goes. If you have, we remove your name, photo and biography and close the account, but the orders, reviews and messages stay — they are the other party's record of a transaction too, and we are required to keep financial records.
An account with an order still in progress cannot be deleted. Finish or cancel it first.
If your account is restricted
A suspended account can be used again when the suspension ends; a banned one cannot. Either way the reason is shown on the screen that blocks you. If you think it is a mistake, email contact@sawamarketplace.com and say which account you are writing about.
